ABOUT AIRFARE:

1) Airline fuel surcharge is included in the tour fare.
2) Government tax/fees of about $85-$100 are not included, and must be paid together with the tour fare.
3)The above package price is based on midweek (Mon. through Thu.) travel. If you travel on weekend, there is a surcharge of $40 each way.
4) Airfares of U.S. carriers are NOT refundable. If you need to cancel the trip due to sickness, the airline may refund the airfare if you submit your doctor's note to the airline (subject to approval).
5) Airfares of Japanese airlines are refundable with $200 cancellation penalty. If you need to cancel your trip due to sickness, this cancellation penalty may be waived.

6) Full-day sightseeing of Miyajima and Hiroshima.

8) Afternoon tour of Nara, and Full-day tour of Kyoto (including lunch).
9) One last night hotel in Tokyo (same hotel as above).
10) 7-day Japan Rail Pass (coach class). This will cover all long distance trains.
ITINERARY:

DAY 1 (TUE//THU/SAT). LEAVE THE U.S.A FOR TOKYO
You will depart from your hometown for Tokyo. Crossing the International Date Line you will lose one calendar day; you will gain it back on your return.
DAY 2 (WED/FRI/SUN). ARRIVE TOKYO
 You will arrive at Tokyo's Narita Airport in the afternoon. You will process your Japan Rail Passes at JR (Japan Railways) Narita Airport Station, and then transfer by Airport Limousine Bus to your hotel in downtown Tokyo (2 nights).
DAY 3 (THU/SAT/MON). TOKYO
 Enjoy a morning motor coach tour of Tokyo, visiting Meiji Shrine, Imperial Palace Gardens and Asakusa Kannon Temple. The tour will disband in the Ginza around 1:00pm. Afternoon is at your leisure.
DAY 4 (FRI/SUN/TUE). TOKYO/HIROSHIMA
You will travel via the Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to Hiroshima. You will stay at the deluxe Hotel Granvia Hiroshima (2 nights).
DAY 5 (SAT/MON/WED). HIROSHIMA
Enjoy Englished-guided tour of Miyajima and Hiroshima. Miyajima is famous for its Itsukushima Shrine ("floating" torii gate) and peaceful Inland Sea. In Hiroshima, you will visit Peace Memorial Park.
Day 6 (SUN/TUE/THU). HIROSHIMA/KYOTO
You will travel via the Shinkansen bullet train from Hiroshima to Kyoto. You will stay at New Miyako Hotel or similar (3 nights). This afternoon you will enjoy motor coach tour of Nara, Japan's oldest capital prospered in the 8th century. The tour highlights included Todaiji (Great Buddha) Temple, Kasuga Grand Shrine, and Deer Park.
DAY 7 (MON/WED/FRI). KYOTO
Enjoy a full-day motor coach tour of Kyoto, visiting Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji (Gold Pavilion) Temple, Heian Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple and more. Lunch is included and will disband at Kyoto Handicraft Center.
DAY 8 (TUE/THU/SAT). KYOTO
Whole day is at your leisure in this historic city.
DAY 9 (WED/FRI/SUN). KYOTO/TOKYO
You will return to Tokyo by the Shinkanen bullet train, and stay your last night in Japan at the same downtown hotel (1 night).
DAY 10 (THU/SAT/MON). TOKYO/NARITA/U.S.A.
Transfer from your hotel to Narita Airport via Airport Limousine Bus. You will return to the U.S. on the same day.
